Balancing Life’s Tasks & Joys

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep
moving.”  Albert Einstein

Caught in the hustle and bustle of outlining and implementing goals for  new projects?

Juggling these two thoughts, reminds me of the importance of
remembering to spend time to laugh and experience the wonders and joys of
life with friends and family. Taking time can be about being spontaneous
and having lunch with a friend,  taking a four-legged fuzzy friend for a
brisk walk, or sharing a night out at the movies even if you need to pencil
it into your calendar or Blackberry.

Sometimes it can be difficult to feel you can find time to be spontaneous
or make time to have fun when you’re looking at a desk full of unfinished
projects. And indeed, life is never static. Life is always in movement, as
we are all presented with new faces, situations and challenges on a daily
basis. It is up to us to choose to grow with our challenges and move
forward or to fade into the quietude of passive inertia.  But balancing our
activity with being in the moment  and leaving space in our hearts for
receiving friendship and love is an important aspect of nurturing ourselves
that will help us perform  tasks effectively and efficiently. To thrive
with a life filled with a much love and laughter  instead of rust or burn
out.

“Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love and to work and
to play and to look up at the stars.”  Henry Van Dyke

So in closing, go for the stars this year and embrace life in it’s
fullest!

Enjoy & be in Joy!“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep
